Dr. Steven Gerst is a graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (M.D.) and an Aresty Scholar at the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Columbia College (B.A.), Columbia School of Public Health – Health Administration (M.P.H.) and the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University (M.B.A.). He is a Diplomat in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has been working on completing a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Masters in Taxation.

Dr. Gerst is currently Chief Medical Officer Arc Devices, Ltd.(2013 – Present) and Arc Clinical Advisory Board.
Arc Devices, Ltd. a global medical device manufacturer of non-contact, digital, infrared thermometry units, multi-vital sign devices and has been involved in the development and patenting of connected health devices for remote patient monitoring (RPM). Arc Devices has been the private label infrared, digital thermometry brand for CVS. Arc’s distribution is expected to expand to 51,000 retail locations this year including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Rite Aid, Costco, Target, Babies R Us, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Publix, Kroger and others. Dr. Gerst has been leading ARC’s development of Clinical Products for Remote Patient Monitoring and Telemedicine for hospitals, clinics, ambulatory care in conjunction with Intel, AT&T, Qualcomm, ADT Health, Epic and generated a Certified Cerner Partnership for hospitals.
He has been working with other Arc Advisory Board members to help design interfaces for Epic and Cerner’s mobile applications (http://www.remotepatientmonitoringinc.com/) in conjunction with ADT Health. Epic alone provides system software to over 450 healthcare systems representing 59% of the hospital inpatient beds in the U.S., 312,000 physician offices, and 75% of the retail market. With ADT Health, this may initially allow over 10 million households, health systems, provders, insurers and consumers access to state-of-the-art, real-time vital sign monitoring directly from the home to the provider to improve access and quality of care while significantly reducing cost as we move into projected $59 billion telehealth and telemedicine market.
